DESCRIPTION:Wherever you are in the East Kootenay\, July 1 is a day for Canadians from all communities to come together to celebrate our identity and what makes us unique as a nation. Celebrations across the region include:  \n\nMulticultural Canada Day at the Golden Museum • July 1st 11 AM – 3 PM \n\nCelebrate Canada Day with your neighbours and friends at the Golden Museum. Enjoy an afternoon of excellent live music\, old‑fashioned kids’ games\, and a variety of activities that highlight the many cultures that make our community shine.  \nBring your lawn chair\, bring your spirit of celebration\, and join us for a fabulous day on the museum grounds. Everyone welcome. Learn more at: https://goldenbcmuseums.com/event/multicultural-canada-day/  \n\nInvermere • June 30th to July 1st \n\nThe celebrations begin on the evening of June 30 with the annual fireworks display presented by the Kinsmen Club of Windermere Valley.
